This summer, Eight Days of Hope will be launching its first annual outreach to serve families in the Buffalo area! Helping 100 families in the University District will be the focus of this year’s outreach July 19-26, and will be the first of many opportunities to serve different areas of the city in the coming years. There is something for everyone to do on a team. Meals for volunteers are provided at no charge and housing for out-of-town volunteers is available without cost. Eight Days of Hope, came into existence to intentionally demonstrate the love and hope we have in Christ Jesus by tangibly serving those in need. Networking with local churches and organizations, they coordinate strategic volunteer efforts to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people who are suffering great personal loss due to hurricanes, floods, or other natural disasters in the United States.
