We hear from many of our partners each week who send us updates, prayer requests and praise reports. Here are a few from the last seven days…
As thanksgiving approaches, we are so grateful as we look back over 2013 and see God’s mighty hand of grace upon our lives! It is our prayer that you find yourself in the same way, rejoicing in His ever-present goodness!
Dear Friends, we are pleased to let you know that God has moved and confirmed open doors in Honduras. On November 15, Alejandro and Fernando set off for Honduras with the purpose of motivating, ministering and helping them think on how they can re-focus the mission that every believer has and a vision to reach their city, town or village.
This week they were in the city of San Pedro Sula, they had an exceptional time with pastors and leaders from the Baptist Association, Central American Mission and Baptists of the Americas.
They ministered the Word, and spoke with pastors that form the Board of one of the Associations. We also conversed about the possibility of forming a strategic alliance with the churches that would allow us to reach Honduras on a national level.
We are praying that God would give us the proper strategy to be able to do this in the most effective way. God has given our ministry access to more than 100 churches in 2014, to work the missional principles and construct a map that would equip and mobilize the congregation to have a greater impact.
What we see encourages us to continue strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus (2 Tim. 2:1), so that every man, woman and child would have repeated opportunities to hear, see, and be touched by the gospel of Christ.
Please continue to keep Alejandro and Fernando in your prayers. They are now in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras until Thursday, Nov. 21; they will then proceed to El Salvador for another week.
Thank you for always standing behind us.

We had our first Skype M:28 Bible study with Long and Van on Wednesday, November 13. We studied Genesis 1 and 2 and it went very well. Long in his usual way had many questions, but this time he said, “My questions are from the perspective of wanting to know God instead of wanting to disprove God and the Bible.” He is already a changed man. Van is very hungry for God and wants Christian fellowship. Please continue to pray for them and us as we meet weekly on Wednesdays from 8:30 to 9:30 EST.
God bless you! Have a wonderful season of Thanksgiving to our Lord. “Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song” (Psalm 95:2 NIV).
Thanks for partnering with us,
Don & Ruth Manta
